Job summary

Fourth Floor in NYC is seeking a Designer to work across girls sizes 4-18. This role is onsite five days a week and involves researching styles, creating sketches, collaborating with the technical and art teams, and presenting trend reports.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in kids design, a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design or Fine Arts, strong Adobe CS skills, and excellent communication. Browzwear 3D experience is a plus.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Our client, a children's apparel brand, is seeking a Designer to join their team in NYC to work across girls sizes 4-18.

**5 days a week onsite

Specific responsibilities include:

• Research and determine key styles and fabrications for upcoming product deliveries
• Create sketches and work with technical team on construction and fit
• Work with Art team on graphics, prints and patterns
• Prepare presentations
• Maintaining knowledge of the current market to identify trends in color, fabric, patterns, etc.
• Presenting seasonal trend research reports

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience in kids design
• Experience in both AI technology and 3D Browzwear software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Fine Arts
• Strong proficiency in Adobe CS
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong print sense
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
