Job summary

6 Degrees Search in New York City is seeking a design-focused apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will create colorways and apparel designs with Illustrator and Photoshop, and present concepts to cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years of apparel design experience, a strong sense of fashion trends, color, graphics, and construction, plus solid organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.
• Must be located in NYC.
• Position is onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
