Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in apparel (outerwear and sportswear), equipment or footwear design.
• Passion for performance and lifestyle archetypes.
• Strong product acumen with working knowledge of apparel product development processes (design, development, sourcing, manufacturing).
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office.
• Good level sketching and tech-pack creation skills.
• Experience doing research, prototyping and concepting across lifestyle and performance products.
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Excellent collaboration skills; able to manage multiple timelines.
• Proactive problem solving with a values-driven approach.
• High agility and adaptability; growth mindset for new tools.
• Preferred: AI rendering tools; international market understanding; basic pattern/construction capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Elevate design expression and create top-tier collaboration products across apparel, equipment and footwear.
• Work on quick-turn opportunities to meet business needs.
• Contribute to both performance and lifestyle product expressions.
• Support design team with seasonal research, concepts, product design, tech-packing and BOM creation; collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Design a broader range of products in collaboration with The North Face Collaboration team; present at milestones and incorporate feedback.
• Understand brand aesthetic, DNA, materials, technologies, fit and silhouette; assist cost engineering.
• Contribute to team reviews, workshops and milestones with attention to detail.
