Job summary

DTJ DESIGN, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Designer/Architect with 5–10 years of professional experience to contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination across disciplines.

The role requires strong design and graphic communication skills, fluency with Revit, BIM 360, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture. Collaboration with studio leaders and multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver compelling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional architectural experience.
• Strong design and graphic communication skills.
• Experience preparing and coordinating drawing sets and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of building construction methods and technical detailing.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Revit, BIM 360, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Develop, coordinate, and assemble drawing sets and project documentation packages.
• Collaborate with architecture, planning, and landscape architecture teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Work directly with Studio Leaders and project teams to advance project goals, schedules, and deliverables.
• Apply strong design thinking, graphic communication, and technical expertise throughout all phases of a project.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Prepare project presentations, visual materials, and design documentation using industry-standard software.
• Utilize Revit, BIM 360, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite to support project delivery and documentation.
• Support a collaborative team environment while contributing to design excellence and high‑quality project outcomes.
