Job summary

Sbhonline in Ocean, NJ is seeking an experienced freelance kitchen designer to join our full-service studio. You will design residential kitchens, create layouts and renderings, and work directly with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers.

This role offers potential for additional work as the business grows. We invite candidates with strong cabinetry, appliance, and countertop knowledge, plus proficient design software and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen design experience required.
• Proficiency with kitchen design software, preferably 2020 Design or a similar program.
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and kitchen layouts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Availability for occasional client meetings at our Ocean, NJ showroom.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, style, and budget.
• Create functional and attractive kitchen designs.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, renderings, and cabinet specifications.
• Revise designs based on client feedback.
• Coordinate with our sales and project teams.
