You should enjoy understanding the customer and the business, making well-considered design decisions, and carrying ideas through to accurate, manufacturable product.

Responsibilities
  • Research consumer needs, retail assortments, emerging trends, competitive pricing, and available sales feedback. Use these findings to propose styles and updates that fit each brand’s identity, customer, price point, and delivery calendar.

  • Collaborate with CAD and artwork specialists from the start of a project. Supply clear references, color standards, dimensions, and placement instructions, and help ensure presentation visuals accurately represent the product being developed.
  • Balance new seasonal work with retailer requests and production follow-up. Track deadlines and open issues, maintain accessible design records, and reuse approved assets when appropriate to reduce unnecessary rework.
  • Identify useful improvements to everyday design processes, test them on real assignments, and share repeatable methods with colleagues. Use company-approved tools and respect confidential information, artwork rights, and customer-specific assets.

  • Demonstrated use of AI in a design or product development workflow. You can show how you guided, checked, and refined the output, and how it improved the work. Relevant tools may include Adobe Firefly, Gemini, ChatGPT, or comparable platforms.
  • The ability to recognize when a compelling image lacks the information a factory needs, and to supply the technical detail required for reliable execution. Strong visual judgment and careful human review are essential.
  • Experience collaborating with factories and cross-functional teams, managing revisions, and maintaining accurate records across multiple projects. Strong spreadsheet, presentation, organization, and communication skills.
