Job summary

Voltai is looking for an experienced product designer to shape interfaces for agentic AI systems and evaluation tools. You will translate complex semiconductor workflows into intuitive UI, collaborating with product, engineering and ML researchers to craft Voltai’s design language.

You will own prototypes, test with real users, and contribute to the brand as we expand hardware and software offerings. A track record shipping from scratch in fast-paced teams and fluency with Figma are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years shipping products from scratch in fast-paced teams.
• Designed for technical or power users and simplify complexity.
• Care about systems thinking as well as individual pixels.
• Maintain a high design bar and expect the same from peers.
• Love coding and staying close to AI/engineering workflows.
• Proficient with Figma and modern design tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design beautiful, user-centric interfaces for AI agents, model evaluation tools, and search/retrieval systems
• Translate abstract technical workflows into clear, usable, and elegant UI/UX
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and ML researchers to shape product direction
• Build and test low- and high-fidelity prototypes with real users
• Own and evolve Voltai’s design system and visual language
• Help define our brand as the category leader in AI for electronics
• Advocate for design excellence in every part of the user journey - from onboarding to edge cases

Required Skill Sets

• Have 3-6+ years of experience shipping products from scratch in fast-paced teams
• Have designed for technical or power users - and know how to make complexity feel simple
• Care as much about systems thinking as individual pixels
• Have a high design bar and expect the same from your peers
• Love figuring things out with code and staying close to AI/engineering workflows
• Proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) and modern design tools

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AI tools, developer tools, or infrastructure products
• Familiarity with semiconductor or electronics workflows (bonus points!)
• Animation or micro-interaction design chops
• Background in frontend development or familiarity with design-to-code handoff
