Job summary
MDC Design Center - Cabinet, Flooring, Countertops is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Sales Representative to join our team in a showroom setting. You will help customers design their dream kitchens, measure layouts, and craft quotes for cabinets, countertops, and flooring.
Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish with strong sales skills, knowledge of cabinet design software, and the ability to coordinate with homeowners, builders, and contractors to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Experience selling Kitchen Cabinets, Countertops, Flooring, Tile, or Building Materials.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to read kitchen measurements and floor plans.
- Experience creating kitchen layouts using ProKitchen, 2020 Design, or similar cabinet design software.
- Knowledge of standard cabinet sizes, fillers, moldings, panels, and accessories.
- Ability to estimate cabinet quantities and prepare accurate quotes.
- Understanding of cabinet construction, hardware, and installation basics.
- Familiar with quartz countertops, LVP flooring, and remodeling products.
- Comfortable communicating with homeowners, contractors, and builders.
- Computer proficient (Email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM).
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers and respond to online inquiries.
- Design kitchens using customer measurements.
- Prepare cabinet layouts, quotes, and product recommendations.
- Sell cabinets, countertops, flooring, and related products.
- Follow up with leads and maintain customer relationships.
- Coordinate orders and communicate with customers throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with contractors and homeowners to ensure project success.
