Job summary

The State of Minnesota is seeking a Designated Coordinator - Skills Development Specialist in Grand Rapids. This part-time role combines direct care duties with program responsibilities designed to support individuals with diverse needs.

You will design, implement, and evaluate behavior support strategies, supervise staff, and coordinate schedules. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience developing person-centered support plans.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support concepts is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine and implement individualized program plans.
• Provide work direction, training and feedback to staff.
• Provide direct care tasks as needed (bathing, toileting, hygiene, medication).
• Ensure safety and security of the site and individuals served.
