Opportunity Partners, Inc. is seeking an Employment Designated Coordinator to help people with disabilities secure and maintain work at our customer sites, including the General Mills Bakery in Chanhassen, MN.

You will train, coach, and support individuals to grow skills, work safely, and gain independence, while acting as a liaison between clients, county case managers, and business partners. Schedule is Mon-Fri 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with a wage of $20.00 per hour.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time direct care experience.
• Associate degree in a related field and two years of direct care experience or equivalent.
• Diploma in a related field with three years of direct care experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 50 hours of education/training in human services plus four years of full-time direct care experience, under supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Train, coach, and assist people with disabilities at customer sites.
• Be a liaison between business customers and clients to ensure the work program succeeds.
• Assist clients develop and enhance work skills.
• Collaborate with representatives, county case managers, and referral sources for supported services.
• Help individuals find meaningful jobs and grow social skills.

Job Summary:

As an Employment Designated Coordinator, you will help our people with disabilities to successfully work and earn a paycheck at our customer’s sites. You will help our people with disabilities grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible. You will work at the General Mills Bakery in Chanhassen, MN.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• Wage: $20.00 per hour

Assist our clients develop and enhance their work skills

Communicate & collaborate with the people with disabilities' representative, county case manager, referral sources, co-workers for Opportunity Partners supported services.

DESIGNATED COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS:

• A designated coordinator may have a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
• A designated coordinator may have an associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
• A designated coordinator may have a diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 or older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children.
• A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services, education, or health and four years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children and is under the supervision of staff person who meets the designated coordinator qualifications listed above.
