Job summary

Canal is seeking a Designated Building Sub (Bench Sub) for the 26-27 school year to support a student-centered environment. The role may involve filling open positions or providing extra support across PreK-4th grade, any subject, and recess/lunch duties to assist staff and students.

The ideal candidate works collaboratively, can sustain a regular schedule, and builds positive relationships with students in a community-oriented school setting.

About The Position

A Designated Building Sub is a person who works every day to fill any open positions or provide extra support where needed. The selected candidate may work at any grade-level PreK-4th, any subject, and/or recess and lunch duties to help support staff and students. The candidate is someone who can work a consistent schedule over the course of the school year. We are looking for a versatile individual who works collaboratively and can build positive relationships with our students.

Pay is dependent on experience, education, and certification as well as number of days worked as a substitute. The range of pay is $110/day to $286.30.
