Job summary

DSM-H Consulting's Retrofit Safety & Smart Cab team designs, validates, and releases cutting-edge technology solutions for a wide range of machines. This role offers exposure to multiple systems, including on-machine testing at the Peoria Proving Grounds and bench testing in the office lab.

You will collaborate with team leads and engineers on harness design, electrical hardware integration, test equipment setup, software regression testing, and creating demo kits.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field.
• Internships accepted as job experience.

• - Provides software and hardware test support for retrofit/aftermarket technology kit projects, working with team leads and other engineers to complete daily tasks.

About this Role

The Retrofit Safety & Smart Cab team designs, validates, and releases many cutting-edge technology solutions for a large variety of Client and non-Client machines. This role provides exposure to many different machines and technology solutions, which can include on-machine testing at the Peoria Proving Grounds and/or bench testing and support in the office lab.

Typical task breakdown:

• - Harness design and assembly, electrical hardware integration & fabrication, test equipment setup, software regression testing, building demo kits, test-track/field support

Interaction with team:

- 1 or 2 team meetings per day, office collaboration, 1o1 meetings

Team Structure

- Manager assigns projects to team leads, team leads delegate work tasks to design engineer(s)

Work environment:

- Office environment, lab with hand tools & HIL benches, proving grounds on machines/equipment

Education & Experience Required:
