Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the Hardware Test engineering team in a safety-critical environment. You will apply electrical engineering and software automation skills to develop robust test solutions for complex hardware and help scale test operations to production readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full cycle electronics hardware test or development experience.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python) and ability to develop and maintain test software.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve electronic hardware problems.
• Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• Familiarity with formal industry test standards such as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-461/810, or similar.
• Experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and processes for hardware verification.
• Experience developing and simulating complex and manufacturable printed circuit board assemblies using tools such as Altium Designer and SPICE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally across multiple organizations.

• Analyze test results to identify failure modes, lead root cause investigations, and drive improvements back into designs.
• Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful testing campaigns.
• Drive continuous improvement to test system infrastructure, processes, and practices.

• As an Electrical Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Hardware Test engineering team
• We develop the wide variety of computing, sensing and actuation, power, and communications systems that are at the core of our automation system
• We’re looking for a broadly experienced individual to apply their electrical engineering and software automation skills to develop robust test solutions for complex hardware in a safety-critical environment
• This is a clean-slate opportunity to grow our primitive test operations into a production worthy operation
• Lead the development of automated test equipment systems for functional, environmental qualification, and manufacturing acceptance tests
