Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with related design knowledge.
• Assorted education in drafting, design, automation, or engineering preferred.
• Equivalent experience may replace degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design safe operating facilities per Xcel Energy standards.
• Provide distribution design project management for most design areas.
• Generate additional company revenue via new business contacts.
• Manage projects from initial contact through post‑project analysis.
• Plan construction work to meet schedule, design, and budget.
• Obtain permits/easements per regulations; execute contracts.
• Represent the Company with officials, vendors, and engineers.
