Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team and accelerate sales through design services in-store. You will hire, coach, and evaluate designers while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

You will greet customers, schedule design appointments, and advise on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Strong collaboration with store leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Design education BA or AA in Interior Design or equivalent experience.
• 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education or combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic and motivated design team, including performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs.
• Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with communication and follow-up.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales goals.
• Support company initiatives and maintain visual standards in the Design Center.
• Engage in current and emerging design trends and utilize design applications (Salesforce, Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject, James Martin, HousPro).
• Participate in local professional affiliations.

Pay Range$20.14 - $36.66Purpose:The Design Supervisor is responsible for the training and development of the design team, and for driving sales for Floor and Decor.
