Job summary

Community College of Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Instructional Technologist to provide technical and instructional support across Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Arts, Digital Media, and Fine Arts programs. The role includes operating large-format printers, supporting 3D printing, and assisting with CAD and Adobe Creative Suite on Mac and Windows.

The incumbent will collaborate with faculty, help prepare studio labs, and promote responsible use of equipment.

Qualifications

Requires at least a bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline.
Experience with architecture, interior design, graphic arts, digital media, or fine arts is valuable.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software is expected.
Experience operating large-format printers and 3D printing equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to students and faculty in studio, lab, and classroom environments.
Assist students and faculty with large-format printing equipment and project materials.
Provide hands-on support with 3D printing equipment for student projects.
Assist with Adobe Creative Suite applications for coursework and projects.
Provide technical assistance with CAD software and related design tools.
Support in Mac OS and Windows OS environments and software.
Troubleshoot computers, printers, and studio equipment.
Maintain studio and lab technology and equipment for instructional use.
Collaborate with faculty to provide students technical assistance for assignments.
Promote responsible use of equipment and technology.
