Design Implementation Manager

Works closely with:
  • Operations + Marketing Manager
Position Purpose

The Design + Studio Assistant supports JKB Home Design across design development, project implementation, procurement, documentation, studio operations, and business administration.

This is a hands‑on position for someone with previous interior design experience who enjoys both the creative and organizational sides of the work. The right person will be equally comfortable working in AutoCAD or SketchUp, pulling materials for a presentation, organizing project information, taking detailed meeting notes, coordinating vendor appointments, updating Asana, preparing project documentation, or helping keep the studio organized and running smoothly.

JKB is a small, highly collaborative studio. This role requires flexibility, initiative, strong attention to detail, good judgment, and excellent follow‑through. The strongest person in this position will learn to anticipate what the designers and studio need rather than simply waiting to be assigned the next task.

Asana is central to how JKB operates. Design work, administrative work, project follow‑up, vendor communication, deadlines, and internal responsibilities are managed through Asana. The Design + Studio Assistant will be expected to become highly proficient in Asana and use it consistently to help keep the studio organized and accountable.
