ALTEN Technology USA in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Design Release Engineer (DRE) for Stellantis to own the wiper/washer subsystem design, development, validation and production release for global vehicle programs.

The role collaborates with BIW, EE, Software and PDO, manages suppliers, and leads DVP&R/DFMEA while handling ECN/ECR and BOM processes. On-site support is required during pilot builds and launches, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Competenze

• ABET-accredited degree or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in automotive design release.
• Experience with exterior hardware components.
• Solid APQP/PPAP knowledge.

Mansioni

• Lead design, development, and production release of wiper/washer subsystems from concept to full volume production.
• Coordinate with BIW, EE, Software, and PDO across programs.
• Serve as single contact for suppliers, tracking progress and sign-offs.
• Develop and validate DVP&R; perform DFMEA and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create and manage ECN/ECR and BOM documentation.
• Provide on-site support during pilot builds and launches.
• Drive root-cause analysis and cost/weight optimization.
