SEGULA Technologies in the United States seeks a Design and Release Engineer (DRE) – BIW Upperbody Engineer to lead the design, development, timing, and production release of BIW upperbody components.
The role collaborates with CAE, Safety, NVH, Powertrain, and Interior teams to ensure crash performance, fitment, and manufacturability, while maintaining SOPs, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs. 5+ years BIW experience required; CATIA V5/UG NX and PLM experience preferred.
The Design and Release Engineer (DRE) – BIW Upperbody Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and production release of Body-in-White (BIW) upperbody structural systems and components.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
5+ years experience in BIW design, sheet metal forming, stamping, and assembly processes.
Proficiency in CATIA V5/UG NX and PLM environments (Teamcenter, ENOVIA). Knowledge of GD&T, DPA standards, and release processes.
