General Motors Company is seeking a Design Release Engineer for Interior Accessories to lead the design, development, and release of interior trim and lighting components from concept through mass production.

You will manage specifications, CAD drawings, and tolerances, lead engineering changes, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Three+ years of product development engineering experience; interior trim, exterior trim and/or lighting preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive interior, exterior, or lighting systems.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, DRBFM, DFSS, GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and release interior trim and interior lighting accessories from concept through production.
• Create and manage engineering specifications, CAD models, drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analyses.
• Lead component delivery from concept to mass production and manage changes.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and quality requirements are met; analyze warranty data and implement improvements.
