Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas is seeking a Design Quality Engineer to ensure design activities meet documented instructions and customer/regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring design performance, documenting quality plans, and coaching QRQC across engineering teams.

You will also act as an internal IMS auditor, verify corrective actions, and maintain CA/PA processes to drive excellence in aerospace seat design and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent
• 3–5 years in aerospace design quality/engineering or related QA roles
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO19011, AS9100, AS9145, ISO14001, OHSAS18001

Responsibilities

• Ensure all design department activities follow documented instructions
• Continuously monitor design and development to ensure compliance with requirements
• Define, document, and monitor design quality plans with the team
• Coach and assure QRQC activities across engineering teams
• Function as internal IMS auditor per the audit plan
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and maintain CA/PA system
