19six Architects in Santa Barbara seeks a Design Professional to support projects for community college facilities. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and job captains, contributing to design development, redline revisions, and project administration.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to ensure quality and timely delivery across multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Architecture required.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with Project Managers, Architects and Job Captains.
• Develop and hone awareness of project processes and context.
• Create and assist with project design efforts as directed.
• Revise project redlines quickly and efficiently, as requested.
• Check own work for accuracy and against company graphic standards.
• Assist with bidding, permitting and construction admin processes (submittal/RFI/PCO intake, logging & filing).
• Assist with project closeout and archiving.
• Work collaboratively within an architectural team.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

19six is seeking a highly motivated architectural Design Professional to support projects within our Community College client design studios.

PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate clearly with Project Managers, Architects and Job Captains.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience or internship with an architecture firm preferred.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Acrobat and MS Office software is required.
