19six Architects is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to acquire and manage Community College projects across Santa Barbara and Southern California. The role entails coordinating with the Design Studio, handling construction documents, and ensuring quality control and on-time delivery.

The candidate will bring 5–10 years of related project management experience, a California architectural license, and familiarity with DSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required.
• 5–10 years of experience managing Community College or Higher Education projects.
• DSA experience is required.
• CA Architectural license is required.
• LEED certification is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Acrobat, Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Design Studio to coordinate and manage projects through all phases from pre-design to CA.
• Produce and interpret architectural redlines and revisions.
• Oversee quality control and ensure schedule, scope and budget compliance.
• Coordinate design consultants and oversee the architectural team.
• Review deliverables before moving to next phase.
• Coordinate construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate with clients.
• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.

19six is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to acquire and manage projects for Community College clients located in the Santa Barbara and Southern California region.

PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaboratively work with the architecture Design Studio to coordinate and manage projects throughout all project phases, pre-design through construction administration.
• Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions.
• Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project schedule, scope and budget.
• Coordinate design consultants and oversee architectural team.
• Review deliverables prepared by project team before proceeding to next phase.
• Coordination of construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate with clients.
• Work collaboratively and facilitate team and client meetings effectively.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required; Masters is a plus.
• 5-10 years’ experience in managing Community College or Higher Education related projects.
• DSA experience is required.
• CA Architectural license required.
• LEED certification is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Acrobat, Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite are required.
