Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York, NY is seeking a Designer & Product Development Associate to bridge design and product development for hair accessories, hair tools, and tech accessories. The role is on-site in NYC and reports into the Design & Development Director.

You will partner with overseas offices and factories, build showrooms and assortments, and contribute to trend and market research while managing multiple timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in fashion, accessories, or product development.
• Experience in accessories design with a focus on hair products or tech accessories is preferred.
• Strong skills in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with overseas offices and factory teams.
• Develop new product concepts and assortments for showroom and accounts.
• Analyze retail landscape and fold findings into assortment planning.
• Align sales, production, and operations with shared information.
• Support concept and research work for each seasonal delivery.
• Create CADs in Illustrator with specs for overseas production.
• Review pre-production and production samples and track deadlines.
