Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Design Program Manager to own the Logistics outcome within the Design Operations Studio in Seattle. You will identify bottlenecks, define and ship internal tools, automate recurring workflows, and redesign scheduling and reviews to maximize the team's bandwidth.

You’ll work with ICs and managers, partnering with other Design Program Managers, to create scalable solutions and reduce manual effort while measuring impact on usable time and throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, program management, or business operations.
• Builder mindset with tools/workflows that replaced manual work.
• PM instincts applied to operations: diagnose, prototype, ship, measure, iterate.
• Ability to own an outcome independently at L4/L5 scope.

Responsibilities

• Own the Logistics outcome, maximize the bandwidth of the team. ICs and managers have more usable time.
• Identify the biggest sources of operational drag across the Studio and turn them into a prioritized roadmap of tools and process fixes.
• Define and build the tools, automations, and workflows that reduce manual coordination, including for scheduling, budgets, vendor management, and event logistics.
• Redesign how the Studio operates: reviews, planning cadences, rhythms for both ICs and managers, information flows, whatever determines how fast teams can move.
• Measure whether your systems work, usable time for ICs and managers, meeting load, adoption, hours of manual work eliminated, and iterate.
• Turn recurring requests into scalable solutions. The second time a problem shows up, build the thing that stops a third.
• Own scheduling, budget, vendor, and logistics programs as a builder, not a permanent executor, your job is to make them need less manual effort every quarter.
