Job summary

FP Movement is seeking a Design Coordinator to support the Design Team with administrative duties in the creation, development and execution of our own-brand product design.

You will participate in weekly Design Flow Meetings, help manage the development calendar with designers, buyers and production, and assist in preparing development packages, spec sheets, and artwork. The role emphasizes communication, organization, and a hands-on approach to apparel design processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Procreate and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop for design development.
• Experience assembling artwork and embellishment packages is preferred.
• Excellent communication to share ideas with Designers, Buyers and cross-functional partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to reprioritize during development.
• Self-starter with bias for action.
• Entry-level understanding of apparel construction and design processes.
• Ability to clearly communicate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active role in weekly Design Flow Meetings and manage follow up with Designer.
• Support seasonal development calendar with designers, buyers, and production.
• Execute design development projects and manage trim and artwork packages.
• Set up spec sheets for private label products and assist with market developments.
• Partner with PD to track styles in development and ensure on-track execution.
• Prepare development packages and communicate follow-up for each package.
• Review incoming garments with Designer and PD to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Assist in sample preparation for monthly sales review meetings with Designers and Buyers.
• Perform special tasks as needed.
