Job summary

Innovative Design Build, Atlanta's premier luxury residential design-build firm, is seeking a Design Manager to lead the Design department from concept through permitting. You will guide a talented team, develop 1–2 personal projects each year, and participate as a key voice on the Leadership Team.

You will stay hands-on while shaping department strategy, refining systems, and delivering exceptional client experiences across multi-phase remodels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Lead Architectural Designer and leadership of a design team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold the design team to high standards of performance and quality.
• Own the financial success and profitability of the design department; manage workload and capacity.
• Oversee plan development and the permitting process; guide projects from concept to completion.
• Serve as an active member of Innovative Design Build's Leadership Team and communicate across departments.
