Job summary

Wipro seeks a UI/UX Front-End Engineer who blends design ownership with hands-on front-end development to translate concepts into interactive prototypes and production-ready interfaces.

You will collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver responsive experiences across desktop and mobile views, using React or Angular and AI-assisted workflows for rapid prototyping.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in UX design, UI engineering, UX engineering, product design, or front-end development roles with substantial design ownership.
• Demonstrated experience in a role weighted toward UI/UX design while retaining hands-on front-end implementation capability.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design process, including problem framing, user flows, prototypes, decisions, iterations, outcomes.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Canva.
• Proficiency in responsive design, accessibility, and front-end best practices.
• Experience collaborating with product owners, UX designers, engineering teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the translation of user needs and design concepts into intuitive journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Bridge design-to-development gaps with engineering teams to ensure implementable designs.
• Create and refine dashboard experiences, visualizations, and responsive interactions.
• Build interactive prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate flows and feasibility.
• Develop production-ready front-end components using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
