Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Design Lead for interior design and high-end showroom experiences. You will collaborate with clients to design spaces, create mood boards, select furnishings, and oversee implementation of design plans.

The role requires creative flair, an eye for style, and 3+ years in furniture retail or interior design. A Bachelor’s in Interior Design and pro-level floor planning software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in interior design or related field and certification preferred.
• 3+ years of furniture retailing and/or interior design experience.
• Proficient with floor planning software (2D/3D).

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store GOAL through team selling.
• Execute the IHD process with every customer and craft mood boards.
• Oversee design plans from concept to implementation in showroom.
• Maintain and update CRM notes and project portfolios.
• Train and coach new hires in the IHD process within 30 days.
