Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc. is seeking a Designer II for our Minneapolis A+E team. The role focuses on creating design solutions, coordinating with clients and teams, and leading design meetings to meet project goals.

You will develop documentation for coordination and construction and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, an Architecture degree, strong knowledge of Revit and BIM tools, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in related job.
• Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Technical Degree.
• Relevant professional work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, BIM tools, Building Codes, Documentation and Constructability.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Client, Architects, Design Project Manager, Designers Development, Construction, and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.
• Solve problems and apply basic principles of design.
• Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration and set an example for others to follow.
• Establish and pursue annual goals based on growth in the industry.
• Direct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Participate in project delivery from programming to construction administration with attention to codes and constructability.
