Job summary

PCA's Design Team in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Designer Intern who will collaborate with customers and team members to evaluate needs, design packaging, build prototypes and make samples to submit to customers for cost effective and aesthetically appealing design solutions per their expectations.

Prepare CAD specifications for production during the manufacturing process and partner with other team members to fulfill requests and improve department efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the Packaging Engineering program at the University of Wisconsin - Stout.
• Knowledge of corrugated structural design principals.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & visual).
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts.
• Close attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution.
• Technical understanding, proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Office, materials and manufacturing process.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
