Job summary

Evans General Contractors, LLC is seeking a Design/Construction Project Manager to coordinate design resources, manage commitments and ensure schedule adherence. You will lead owner and design-team meetings, track progress, and maintain living documents such as execution plans and decisions logs.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in construction project management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Revit/Navisworks, BIM360 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, manufacturing or life sciences.
• Strong PM and leadership capabilities with construction project focus.
• Experience with design coordination and formal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Support engagement of design resources and evaluate proposals for design services.
• Examine owner information pre-kickoff to identify gaps and confirm scope.
• Assist in programming and align design resources with owners’ goals.
• Develop a Design Execution Plan with live tracking and biweekly activities.
• Maintain a design decisions log and report progress to stakeholders.
• Track design hours, cost and earned value against the fee.
• Lead and manage meetings with owners and design team weekly.
• Coordinate design meetings and internal project management meetings.
• Ensure progress and remove roadblocks to meet schedule.
