Job summary

Tyndale House Publishers is seeking a Design & Illustration Intern to join our on-site design team in a Christian publishing environment. You’ll work with art directors, designers, and production artists to publish illustrated books for kids and adults, blending illustration and graphic design to tell stories.

Applicants should have substantial undergraduate coursework in fine arts or illustration/graphic design, strong traditional or digital illustration skills, and a solid command of the Adobe

Qualifications

Substantial undergraduate coursework in fine arts, illustration, or related field.
Illustration skills in traditional or digital formats.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with basic InDesign knowledge.
Able to receive and give feedback in a collaborative environment.
Capable of working independently to complete tasks.
Portfolio submission with application.
Alignment with Bible beliefs and Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

Brainstorm illustration concepts and develop creative directions for children's and adult books.
Design social media projects, Bible designs, and book covers.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop strong concepts for new products.
