Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Engineering or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with significant people management responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver projects from concept to production.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, IEC, CSA) and modern manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Experience managing budgets and project resources to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams to design and develop transformers and related components, meeting quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Oversee project execution from concept through production, aligning with business goals and customer specs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure seamless design integration into production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout development.
• Mentor and develop junior managers and engineers, providing technical guidance.
• Monitor and manage team performance to align KPIs with business objectives.
• Manage project resources and budgets to deliver on time and within constraints.
• Drive problem-solving and risk management to address challenges and mitigate risks.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to best practices within teams.
