Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
• At least five years of product development experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Oversee design engineering group including electrical, mechanical, and drafting engineers.
• Support sales, logistics, production, and management.
• Lead performance reviews and provide training and career development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design Engineering, Logistics, and Production to meet customer requirements and schedules.
• Ensure UL compliance and coordinate UL inspections.
• Review drawings, first-article submissions, and return material authorization requests.
• Maintain document control and design standards.
• Evaluate capital equipment needs and prepare capex requests.
• Travel up to 40%.
