The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, with at least five years in product development and supervisory experience. Expect up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design engineering group (electrical, mechanical, and drafting) and ensure work is distributed, on schedule, and high quality.
• Support sales, logistics, production and management across the division and sites.
• Review technical drawings, first-article submissions, and return material authorizations.
• Maintain document control, procedures, standards, and testing regimes; ensure UL compliance.
• Collaborate with divisions to meet customer requirements, schedules, cost targets, and engineering intent across U.S. and China facilities.
• Prepare capital expenditure requests and evaluate equipment needs; support key customers.
