Job summary

Inspire Brands is seeking an Analyst to support design and engineering for kitchen concepts across its multi-brand portfolio, translating concepts into detailed layouts and drawings. You will work with a lead Manager to establish 2D/3D CAD models, review third-party drawings, and help create standards and databases that drive enterprise kitchen initiatives.

Qualifications

• Developing ability to read, understand and model restaurant plans and kitchen adaptations.
• Proficiency in graphic illustration and detailed communication.
• Developing expertise in 2D CAD modeling (AutoCAD) and specification development (3D / Revit preferred).
• Knowledge of software related to communication, organization and project management.
• Developing knowledge of space planning, restaurant design, kitchen equipment and restaurant operations.
• Willingness to learn industry regulations and standards and data analytics.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with managerial supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering (Drafting): Supports development of new concepts and layouts.
• Executes detailed drawings for review in preparation for manufacture.
• Reviews drawings from 3rd party manufacturers for standards compliance.
• Builds component blocks (2D and 3D as needed).
• Supports planning and execution of operational mock-ups via component design and mild fabrication.
• Contributes to throughput studies and simulations related to build and team activities.
• Communicates standards across brands to internal and external partners.
• Collaborates with Brand and Internal Operations Partners on non-standard kitchen applications.
• Assists with custom fabrication specifications with external partners.
