Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified Design Engineer for our Windows division in Medford, Wisconsin. The role focuses on designing for window and door systems, testing, and analyzing new and existing products, and assisting in manufacturing process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience in window/door design and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in window and door design is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with window/door designs and installation is a plus.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs for window and door systems.
• Design, test, and analyze new and existing products.
• Assist in development and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Work with suppliers to evaluate components and materials.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to assess product performance feedback.
• Assist with testing and certification of products.
• Provide and maintain accurate documentation about products.
• Work in a team with production, customer service, and sales.
