Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries seeks a Design Engineer to join the Windows division in Red Bluff, CA or Medford, WI. You will design window and door systems, test and analyze products, and help improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications include 2–5 years in window/door design, a BS in mechanical engineering or related field, and proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in window and door design.
• BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with window/door designs and installation is a plus.
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer designs for window and door systems.
• Design, test, and analyze new and existing products.
• Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate components and materials.
• Work with sales/marketing to evaluate product feedback.
• Assist with testing and certification of products.
• Maintain accurate product documentation.
• Work in a team with production, customer service, and sales.
