Job summary
The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking an experienced Professional Design Engineer to perform civil, structural, and water resources design.
The successful candidate will prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for district projects, and serve as engineer of record ensuring compliance with laws and standards. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- State of Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Experience with civil, structural, and water resources design.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction drawings, specs, and estimates.
- Serve as engineer of record for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Review submittals and assist during bidding and construction.
- Conduct site investigations and field observations.
- Ensure designs meet codes, standards, permit requirements.
