Job summary

Celigo, a leading iPaaS platform, seeks a Design Engineer to own the bridge between design and production. This first-design-engineer hire will shape the role, collaborate across UX, Engineering, and Product Management, and own components, tokens, and design tooling.

You will advance a production-grade React component library, prototype complex interactions, and build AI-assisted workflows. This role emphasizes enabling the entire UX team and partnering with designers and PMs to translate design

Qualifications

7+ years building web interfaces with React, TypeScript, and CSS.
Expert-level Figma and component library work.
Experience implementing WCAG 2.1 AA at the component level.
Strong design sense and coding ability to match design intent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve the production-ready React component library to keep designs aligned with user experience.
Prototype complex interactions and animations in code to inform faster decisions.
Build AI-assisted workflows and agent rules for the codebase and design systems.
Enable the UX team by defining workflows, teaching, and pairing with designers and content designers.
Collaborate with Product Designers, Content Designers, and Product Managers to translate design intent into precise, accessible UI components.
