Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Design Engineer to contribute to municipal infrastructure projects including streets, water distribution, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You will develop design deliverables and work with multiple design disciplines to ensure high-quality solutions.

The role relies on BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based methods to support PEC standards. Strong communication and collaboration are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited university is required.
• Engineer in Training Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Experience with CAD/BIM software and design calculations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering on multiple municipal infrastructure projects per PEC standards.
• Coordinate with other design staff for construction documents, specifications, and reports.
• Perform hand and computer-based design calculations.
• Review submittals, site investigations, and RFIs under the Project Engineer's guidance.
• Organize and manage project information per corporate practices.
