Job summary

Inertia Engineering in Stockton, CA is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to ensure the reliability and accuracy of engineering digital systems and tools. This onsite role is based in our Stockton facility.

You will act as a liaison between engineering and other functions regarding engineering systems, administer JD Edwards ERP, SolidWorks PDM Vault, and the Drawing Configurator, and produce training materials and process sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and engineering data tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Design Engineer

MPS Stockton, CA, is seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and accuracy of engineering digital systems and tools.

This role is based in our facility located in Stockton, CA (Onsite).

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a liaison between engineering and other functional areas with regard to engineering systems.
• Key administration of engineering systems; JDE (ERP System), SolidWorks PDM Vault, Drawing Configurator (Realtime design), and process sheet generations.
• Provide training and user documentation for engineering systems.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards 9e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Excel in This Role

• A bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

• Competencies/ Skills Oracle JD Edwards or similar ERP familiarity, Drawing Configurator, and process sheet generation.
• Critical reasoning, solution-based thinking, and research skills
• Ability to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
