Job summary

EnTox Sciences is seeking a Design Engineer to join our Seattle team. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains to design, fabricate, and integrate our BaroFuse instrumentation for biomedical research.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with CAD proficiency (Fusion 360) and hands-on fabrication skills. You will model assemblies, select off-the-shelf components, and build custom parts via 3D printing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or related engineering field.
• 2–4 years of design, fabrication, or instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred).
• Experience with 3D printing, electronics assembly, and programming (Python/C++/Go).
• Strong problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design & Fabrication: model parts with CAD, select components, 3D print parts.
• Systems Integration: wire electrical components, integrate controllers, assemble instruments.
• Software & Data: program data acquisition and UI, test software, process data.
• Customer & Team Support: train staff, troubleshoot, feedback-based improvements.
