Job summary

Omi Health, a leading pet health platform, seeks a designer/frontend engineer to own the UX across our iOS app and website. You will partner with our founding engineer and founders to ship user-friendly features and prototypes that extend pet care.

You will balance design excellence with implementation, sweat typography and motion, and iterate from user interviews. Minimum 2–5 years of experience; remote work not required.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of designs and builds that real people use.
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy and motion, including unglamorous states.
• Ability to explain why a screen works and defend it in critiques.
• Experience shipping with SwiftUI or React.
• Familiarity with AI design tools and validating outputs.
• Talks to users and iterates based on feedback.
• Appreciation for animals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the interface across iOS app, website, and other design assets from concept to final features.
• Collaborate with founding engineer and product team to shape UX and first impressions.
• Lead design systems, ensure accessibility, and refine user flows based on user feedback.
