Job summary

Product.ai is seeking a founding designer with a rare blend of design and coding skill to own the SimplyCodes screens—our revenue engine. You will work inside Cortex, directing AI-driven design and coding agents to produce production-ready UI with a precise design system.

This role blends human-centered design with front-end craft, in a founder-led, bootstrapped environment. You’ll collaborate closely with the Founding Designer to shape the surface that shoppers trust and search engines rank,

Qualifications

• Real human–computer interaction background with shipped interfaces.
• Live portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design and code work.
• Experience building interfaces in React and CSS.
• Fluency with design tools and AI coding tools as a default workflow.
• Bonus: SEO awareness and search-traffic design perspective.

Responsibilities

• Own the SimplyCodes screens from design to code, end-to-end.
• Own the design-system layer in code for machine-generated UI.
• Build prototypes and shipping components without handoffs.
• Polish motion, state, spacing, and typography for trust.
• Co-sign a seat charter within the first quarter.
