Job summary

United Equipment Accessories, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to develop innovative, high-quality products for motion applications, balancing technical feasibility with cost considerations.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, supply chain and manufacturing, translate customer needs into specifications, and support installation and service through the sales process, including travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; electrical/electronics exposure is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of design engineering and new product development experience.
• Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with SolidWorks and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specs and design changes.
• Create and modify product designs using SolidWorks and 3D CAD tools.
• Support customers and sales with technical guidance and installation recommendations.
• Travel infrequently to tradeshows and customer sites as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and process documentation (DFMEA, ECOs).
