You will engage in hands-on learning, perform load analyses, and gain proficiency with state-of-the-art CAD and proprietary design software.

You will contribute to designing safe, economical components while collaborating with cross-functional teams, embracing a growth-minded, people-first culture at Nucor.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Pursuing an ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Strong English language communication skills.
• Verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on learning supporting the role of a full-time design engineer on production projects.
• Load analysis tasks and tracing load paths across diverse structures.
• Training to operate proprietary design software with precision.
• Contribute to design processes for safe, economical components.
• Collaborate across teams to fabricate high-quality products.
