Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an experienced automotive engineer to lead the design and development of vehicle infotainment components, including Head Unit, Instrument Cluster, TCU, displays, and wireless charging modules. The role requires coordination with Styling, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver feasible, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of vehicle infotainment components (Head Unit, Instrument Cluster, TCU, Displays, wireless charging) from concept to production.
• Coordinate with Styling to refine design data and feasible solutions.
• Manage component requirements ensuring compliance with customer, vehicle, regulatory, and functional needs.
• Collaborate with suppliers for design, development, validation, cost optimization, and issue resolution.
• Develop and release engineering specifications, 2D/3D drawings, DFMEA, DVP&R, and documentation.
• Support vehicle packaging and integration for fitment, wiring, and thermal performance.
• Lead design reviews and change management with evaluation and implementation of improvements.
• Conduct validation and testing (functional, environmental, EMC/EMI, reliability, vehicle-level).
• Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis and resolve during development, production, launch, and field operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve milestones and on-time launches.

Job description

• Lead design and development of vehicle infotainment components including Head Unit, Instrument Cluster (Meter), Telematics Control Unit (TCU), Displays, Amplifiers, Speakers, Switches, and Wireless Chargers using Catia V5/V6
• Co Ordinate with Styling Team to refine design data to provide feasible solution.
• Manage component requirements from concept through production, ensuring compliance with customer, vehicle, regulatory, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for component design, development, validation, cost optimization, and issue resolution.
• Develop and release engineering specifications, 2D/3D drawings, DFMEA, DVP&R, and technical documentation.
• Support vehicle packaging and integration, ensuring proper fitment, mounting, wiring, thermal performance, and vehicle interface compatibility.
• Lead design reviews and engineering change management, including evaluation and implementation of design improvements.
• Conduct validation and testing activities, including functional, environmental, EMC/EMI, reliability, and vehicle-level testing.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues identified during development, manufacturing, launch, and field operation using root cause analysis methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Software, HMI, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Program Management to achieve project milestones.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring infotainment systems meet performance, quality, cost, and launch targets.
