Job summary

ARMI is seeking a Process Equipment & Installation – Design Engineer to design and build projects for process equipment and installation systems. The role requires SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD proficiency, with hands-on experience in food process layouts and sheet metal design.

You will travel up to 15%, accompany Sales/Project Engineers to pre-bid meetings, and be onsite during testing and startups. Strong communication and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years with SolidWorks, Inventor or CAD.
• Minimum 3+ years in food process layouts using 2D/3D software.
• Sheet metal and Weldment design using SolidWorks.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 15%.
• Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

How you will make an impact

• Design & build projects for process equipment & installation systems.

What You Need to Succeed

• Mechanical engineering degree and/or applicable industry experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD experience
• Minimum of 3+ years in food process layouts using 2D and 3D software.
• Sheet metal and Weldment Design using SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
• Availability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
